Republican Paul Rosino Running for Senate District 45;
Representatives Osborn and Kannady Offer Endorsements
OKLAHOMA CITY – Successful small businessman and twenty-five year military veteran Paul Rosino announced today that he will run in the upcoming Senate District 45 Special Election. The seat was previously held by Senator Kyle Loveless and includes portions of Oklahoma, Cleveland and Canadian Counties.
Rosino said he is running to bring common sense conservative values and a business-minded approach to the State Capitol.
“I was honored to serve my country in the United States Navy for 25 years,” Rosino said. “Almost twenty-two years ago when I was first stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, I could have never imagined all this state would one day mean to me.”
“I have raised a family here. I completed my military service here. I started a small business here. I believe we have the best community in the country, and I want to do my part to ensure we have an even brighter future.”
State Representatives Leslie Osborn (R-Mustang) and Chris Kannady (R-Oklahoma City), who represent large portions of Senate District 45 in the State House, offered their immediate endorsements.
“Paul’s track record in private business will be very valuable at the Capitol,” Osborn said. “We need more job creators like Paul in office, people who understand what it takes to run a business, balance budgets and deal with government regulation.”
“I am proud to endorse a true patriot like Paul,” Rep. Kannady said. “I have known him for many years. Paul is a common sense conservative who will focus on key issues, like job creation, stronger schools and healthcare, good roads, safer streets and honest, accountable government.”
Rosino describes himself as an “across-the-board conservative” who supports limited government and personal responsibility. He also supports traditional values, like the right-to-life and, as a concealed carry license holder and NRA member, Second Amendment rights.
“I look forward to meeting the people of Senate District 45 and sharing my vision for a stronger Oklahoma,” Rosino said. “ I encourage everyone to visit my website, www.PaulRosino.com, and learn more about our campaign.”
